What should be the very best time of a woman’s life—the birth of her baby—often turns out to be a time of sadness and even unhappiness. Postpartum depression is very real fo
r many women and reasons may include hormonal changes or even inevitably drastic life changes after the birth of the baby.
New mothers need to understand that feeling sad rather than happy about her new baby is not a cause for feeling guilty; what is important is that new mothers are not isolated and that they seek appropriate help.
A new mother should become proactive in getting her life back on track for her own sake as well as that of her baby and her partner. Many studies have indicated that a postnatal exercise program that is not too strenuous and that is designed specifically for the new mother’s can make a significant difference.
Latino Bambino to the rescue!
This program is an ideal solution in aiding mothers through postnatal depression as it offers them a fun workout, and an opportunity to socialize and meet new friends whilst spending
quality time bonding with their baby.
Latino Bambino’s participants never walk out of the class unsatisfied or unaccomplished. The workout is simply excellent – it releases happy hormones, letting the mother’s feel energized, empowered and motivated.
The classes last 45 minutes, so you can be sure to fit it into your busy day. It doesn’t matter what level of fitness you are at or how good a dancer you are, you qualify!
During the workout mums wear their babies in carriers or slings. Baby wearing not only adds to the fun, it helps mum get fit much faster and it allows the baby to bond with the mother.
What better way to release some happy hormones than by spending time with your baby, dancing to happy Latin rhythms, having fun socializing with other mums and exercising whilst dancing.
