Joanna Varrall

Joanna is an energetic, conscientious, and passionate yoga teacher.

She started practicing in 1995 and later trained with Ruth White, qualifying as a Kuruna Yoga teacher in 2002. (Yoga Alliance Registered School RYS500US)

Her teaching is influenced by the wide variety of yoga disciplines she has practiced herself. These include Iyengar, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, as well as the teachings of Donna Holleman and Donna Farhi.
Joanna’s style of yoga is mainly ‘flow’, synchronizing breath & movement by linking postures together to form a variety of sequences, creating strength, flexibility, balance and a sense of well being. She also teaches Gentle Yoga suited to students who require a restorative practice to open and stretch the body relieving stiffness, relax the mind and enhance vitality.

Best known for her friendly, easy to follow style of teaching, Joanna is experienced in instructing complete beginner to advanced students in group classes and individually.
